Bunch Moneywort (Bacopa Monnieri)

Available in different options:

• Bunch (4-6 stems)
• Potted (rooted in rockwool)

Hardy, quick-growing texture, perfect as a background plant for a lower-light aquarium, and oh-so-popular! Requires average light and water parameters, keeping towards the mid-range.

Bacopa Monnieri is actually a marginal plant, meaning that it can transition between completely submerged to immersed like a dream! Try it by allowing your Moneywort to grow right out of your tank and drape over the side. If it gets enough light and nutrients, it'll even produce little white flowers for you.

I personally grow these both ways, so your bunches may have harvested stems that have both emergent and submerged leaves, plus usually some roots too!

Bunch format: 4-6 collected stems, may be branched or rooted (4-8" tall)

Potted format: Well-rooted in rockwool pot, excellent for bare-bottomed tanks

Growing Requirements:

• Temperature: 65-80°F
• pH: 6-8
• Light: Lower to medium intensity
• Growth rate: Fast
• Gets more compact in high light and CO2

As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there’s always a chance of harmless hitchhikers like snails or dwarf shrimp tagging along with your plants!

I personally keep several beneficial snail species in my tanks, including Colorful Ramshorns, Bronze Bladder and Pond Snails, Mini Rams, and Malaysian Trumpet Snails. These snails stay relatively small, help clean the aquarium, and do not eat healthy plants or cause harm.
