If you're just freshening up your top end and having the cylinders honed, install a fresh set of rings to ensure a tight fit. There isn't a marking on the rings so they can be installed in either orientation. Remember to stagger the ring gaps according to the manual.Be very careful when installing the cylinder over new rings, it's helpful to have the proper tool to keep the rings compressed as you lower the cylinder over the pistons.
