Kairiki 8 is Shimano's new 8-strand braided braid, made in Japan and featuring "VT construction method" technology. It is a very durable and fluid PE wire, perfect for reaching long casting distances. Available in diameters from 0.05 mm to 0.43 mm, break resistant up to 47 kg. It is perfect for spinning in both fresh and salt water as it is very sensitive and particularly fluid, which reduces noise. It will be available in two new high-visibility colours, Yellow and Multicolor, as well as classic Mantis Green and Steel Grey. The multicolor version is very interesting for deep fishing. Thanks to the fluidity of the wire and the small diameter, Kairiki 8 is great for jigging as it creates less water resistance and maximum stretch of <3.0%, it is also a very sensitive wire.
