The make-up fair is an avenue for make-up artists and Beauty lovers to meet and network amongst each other..also, an opportunity for make-up lovers to meet with their favourite make-up artist, connect with a new Makeup artist and thereby expand their networks*wink*…. I can’t start telling stories of how I met lottsa my awesome colleagues and how we usually gist on makeup new trends, tricks et al(note: junior & senior colleagues inclusive)… personally, I can’t even imagine missing any Makeup fair oh! Ko joor mhen..?..lol
My experience at the make-up fair has ALWAYS been a beautiful, fun-filled & fulfilling one *without psyches*… I’ve got the opportunity to meet prospective clients who are now clients. Makeup fair gives That rare opportunity to mingle with Colleagues who we’d not seen in a while and some we’ve never met due to our busy schedule or location (e.g Benin MUA, Abuja MUA etc) .. the most interesting part,I’ve also got lots of make-up products at reasonable rates plus freebies… I was and am still absolutely sure of the products being of good quality that meets health and safety standards… Can’t trade quality for quantity bikonnu.. Lol. I don’t want cancer of the Lips… hehehe
Jokes apart, if you are a make-up lover, I would advise you to ALWAYS be at the make-up fair and be SURE you are going to get quality make-up products at reasonable rates and learn few things about your personal make-up application.(yes,we do demos ,runway etc at the fair).. Make-up Artist, stop dulling yourself if you want to gain relevance, leave your comfort zone, come and network with great minds… This is a great opportunity for you to exhibit your works, brands and a good way to market your make-up products and services to prospective clients. Lastly, we get few awareness on latest beauty/makeup brands showcased at the fair! It’s just awesome
NB: You don’t have to be a MUA to attend the ‘Makeup fair’… as long as you’re thirsty for great and quality cosmetic products, look no further! Here’s the RIGHT place to be…
